Offprint

I built Offprint for chartcoach, where agents curate visualization design guidelines from highly visual sources such as Apple’s Charts Human Interface Guidelines. A chart’s colors, labels, and layout carry evidence that a Markdown extraction can lose. I wanted to give multimodal agents a portable document containing both the guidance and the examples it refers to.

Offprint first captures the rendered page as self-contained HTML and checks that it reopens with networking blocked. PDF export uses the page’s print layout, keeping selectable text and links alongside its figures. For repeated captures, the Rust core shares browser processes, streams resources, and deduplicates their contents.
